1. I have a really good sense of smell.

5. I can hold snakes no problem, but don't EVER ask me to hold a mouse or rat.

My workspace

I was working on organizing my work area ALL evening. So this is my picture of the day, the finished product. I only wish I took a "before" picture. It was way worse than this!

Toys

Not very good, but it is 7:30 and I forgot to take a picture today. Saw these on the counter and threw them on a white piece of paper. LOL

The second one I thought was funny because you can see the entire tv in his eye. Excuse the noise this was ISO 1600.

My Puppy

Well, she's not a puppy anymore. She's 8 years old. We love her to death!

A fun day for me!

The first is a film print I took yesterday, just sharpened for web. The next ones are from today, took my 4yo with me to get some shots of something. We were just out looking and he was sad that he forgot his Fisher Price digital camera and I had my film Rebel in the car so I let him use that. He kept saying "Thank you Mommy for letting me use your old camera, I just love it!"

The best pics for last. The last 3 bw are the ones that my boy took. I didn't do any cropping or anything just posting them here for you all to enjoy.

Darts

This is the magnetic dart board that our kids got from some friends for Christmas. We took down a picture to hang it in the dining room above the table and it's still there. :lol:

The other is the first pic I took with my 85mm I can't beieve I haven't tried it out yet. I'm going to have lots of fun with this lens!

Wanted to share some SOOC

That's straight out of the camera for my family who reads :)

The color is still showing up desaturated, but I really love the in camera vignetting.

And today's pictures

We played in the rain for all of 2 minutes and the boys were done. They don't like being wet AT ALL.

Still working on that color issue. I think I've figured it out but I'll play with it tomorrow and see if I can get those to post right.

I didn't miss yesterday

I did take pictures, just haven't had time to upload them yet and since I'm working today I won't have time until this evening.

The 5d is awesome though! I'm having so much fun with it and am going to be very very sad when I have to pack it up and send it back.

Oh and I rented it at www.lensprotogo.com Their customer service is great and if you've ever looked into renting a 5d locally you'll know his price is great too!

Rented the 5d

And with every picture I took (a total of 4 so far) is in focus and exposure perfect, it makes my want to throw my 20D in the trash. I never ever should have rented the 5d. I can't give it back. :sigh: Well I have a week with it anyway. Not sure if I'll have any more from today to share, but you better believe I took a pic as soon as I took it out of the box. This was my only willing participant as long as I didn't interrupt him watching tv.

Does anyone know why pictures get desaturated when you post them to the web?

It didn't work so well. I tried the timer, couldn't get the focus and I tried the mirror thing and couldn't get the focus. LOL

Everyone comments on it when they come over because the depth and detail in it is just gorgeous! Just thought I'd share. :)

P.S. even though it looks like it, I don't have roots showing. I've only dyed my hair once, it is naturally blonde. :P

Another crazy day today, so just took a quick snap of this little guy on the counter. LOL Oh and ap was at 1.4, just playing with it that wide open.

Palm tree for Melissa

Well, I really wanted to get a good shot of these cool wavy trunk palm trees, but the boys did NOT want to be there (it was super cold here today) so I took what I got. We have so many different kinds of palm trees that I wanted to take a picture of different kinds, but we just didn't have time. It is 12:34 AM on Sunday and it is the first time I've been home since 10am on Sat!

Sometimes I do things with the image before running this action, but if I don't I usually do delete the last flatten command and play with the curves and levels.

Bikes!

Just messing around trying to cheer up my 2yo with pneumonia. He LOVES dirtbikes. All extreme sports really, but especially dirt bikes and supercross. He truly is his dad's son.
